US LLC formation: a step-by-step guide for marketplace sellers
Most sellers who want to reach US buyers on Amazon, Walmart, eBay or Etsy start by forming a US company (LLC). Step by step
Choose a state — An LLC is formed in one state; formation and annual fees and reporting rules differ from state to state. Choose based on your own situation, and if you are unsure, ask an accountant or a lawyer.
